Rajganj, 19th December: BJP has handed over a memorandum to the BDO office of Rajganj in support of several demands including allegations of corruption in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Today, the supporters of workers of Fatapukur and Subhash Pally area of Rajganj have submitted the said memorandum to the BDO of Rajganj in support of 13-point demand. During this, Jalpaiguri District President of BJP Bapi Goswami, Vice President Dilip Chaudhary, Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Shikha Chatterjee, BJP Kisan Morcha District President Nakul Das, Rajganj Block President of BJP Nitai Mandal and others were present.
In this regard, BJP District President Bapi Goswami said that houses are being provided to the indigent people of West Bengal under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Stating this he alleged that the poor and needy are being deprived and houses are being made available to the economically prosperous people in the society. In protest against this, protests are being held at the regional office and BDO office at various places in the district. Even today, a memorandum has been submitted to the BDO office of Rajganj regarding several demands.
