Siliguri, 12th December: The BJP raised protests against the suspension of MLA development fund projects, accusing the district administration of halting works in several areas.
The party organized a dharna in front of the SJDA office in Siliguri, led by Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh and the BJP Siliguri Organizational District Committee.
BJP alleged that the development projects under the MLA fund were deliberately stopped, affecting initiatives meant for the benefit of the public.
Shankar Ghosh stated that they could not remain silent when projects aimed at improving public welfare were obstructed, prompting the protest in front of the SJDA office.
