Kharibari, 08th November: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) Siliguri organizational and Kharibari Block Mandal Committee protested against ration corruption in front of the BDO office in Kharibari.
During this, BJP’s Siliguri Organizational District Secretary Babita Chhetri, General Secretary Raju Saha, Opposition leader of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Ajay Oraon, and other leaders and workers were present.
As per reports, on Wednesday, the BJP workers and supporters rallied from the BJP party office in Kharibari, circumambulated the main roads, and protested in front of the BDO office.
In this regard, General Secretary Raju Saha stated that the protest was held against the ration corruption in the state. He claimed that fake ration cards in large numbers have been issued. He added that in the coming days, information about ration corruption in the Kharibari block will be provided to the BDO. Furthermore, he stated that a massive protest would be staged upon failure to properly investigate and arrest the culprits.
