Siliguri, 04th August: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Siliguri Organizational District Committee submitted a memorandum to the Siliguri SDO with multiple demands including ending the harassment being faced by the common people over COVID vaccination and arrangement of vaccination camps in rural areas.
The BJP alleged that COVID vaccines are not being distributed properly in the state and people are being harassed.
Raju Saha, general secretary of the party’s Siliguri Organizational District Committee, demanded the corruption be stopped immediately and people should be vaccinated in every ward of Siliguri Municipal Corporation through vaccination camps. He also demanded that arrangements should be made to vaccinate people in rural areas.
Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh and other BJP activists and supporters of the Siliguri Organizational district were present at the programme.
