Siliguri, 05th February: A Public Relations campaign was organized by the BJP, today, in Ward No. 3 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The campaign was led by the BJP State General Secretary Rathindranath Bose and Siliguri Organizational BJP President Praveen Agarwal.
During the event, the party leaders distributed leaflets regarding the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) in Ward No. 3 Gurung Basti Bazar. The activists accused the opposition parties of spreading propaganda regarding the NRC and CAA.
The BJP State General Secretary Rathindranath Bose and Siliguri Organizational BJP President Praveen Agarwal stated that no one will lose their citizenship because of the law, rather, the refugees of India will be provided with citizenships. They further stated that the BJP fights for the rights of the common people and will continue to do so.
