Naxalbari, 27th April: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a sit-in protest at the Naxalbari police station against the death of a minor girl and a BJP worker in Kaliyaganj. A protest rally was organized today from the party office in Naxalbari and the party workers later protested in front of the police station.
Siliguri Organizational District BJP Yuva Morcha President Arijit Das said that they will be organizing a protest program against the incident in Kaliyaganj. He further added that tomorrow a 12-hour strike will also be observed throughout North Bengal.
