Siliguri, 19th March: On Tuesday, the State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) arrived at the residence of MLA Shankar Ghosh in Siliguri. Notably, the MLA’s mother Parul Ghosh breathed her last on March 17.
Upon hearing the news of the demise, Sukanta Majumdar paid respects to the late Parul Ghosh, accompanied by Jalpaiguri MP Dr. Jayanta Roy, Dabgram-Fulbari Assembly MLA Sikha Chatterjee, and others.
Speaking to the media, Sukanta Majumdar slammed the state government on several issues. Meanwhile, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien called for Lok Sabha polls to be conducted under Supreme Court supervision, prompting a response from Sukanta Majumdar.
