Kharibari, 11th January: On Monday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized the ‘Ek Muttho Chaal’ (a handful of rice) programme at the Chekarmari area under Ranniganj Binnabari Mandal.
BJP state general secretary Sayantan Basu was present during the programme. Siliguri organizational district president Praveen Agarwal, SC Morcha district president Rajen Barman, Mandal president Bholanath Siddha, and other workers were also present.
Ganesh Chandra Debnath, a member of the National Council, said that the programme was launched today as part of the Krishak Suraksha Abhiyaan, which will continue till January 24.
