Dinhata, 02nd September: The BJP organized a massive rally in support of the 11-point demand under the program ‘Chor Dharo Jail Bharo’ and submitted a memorandum to the Dinhata SDO.
This rally was taken out from the BJP party office on behalf of the BJP Dinhata Mahakuma Committee. The rally marched through the city and reached the office of the Dinhata SDO, where the protest was held. After this, a memorandum was submitted in support of the 11-point demand.
BJP Cooch Behar district president and North assembly constituency MLA Sukumar Roy, Cooch Behar South assembly constituency MLA Nikhil Ranjan Dey, Tufanganj MLA Malti Rabha Roy, Mathabhanga MLA Sushil Barman, Dinhata city divisional president Ajay Roy, and other leaders were present in the rally.
During this, Sukumar Roy said that a rally was organized in support of the 11-point demand under the program ‘Chor Dharo Jail Bharo’. He further added that a memorandum was to be submitted to the SDO, but in his absence, the memorandum has been handed over to another officer.
