Rajganj, 21st July: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observed ‘Ganatantra Bachao Diwas’ (Save Democracy Day) in front of the Belakoba Outpost.
According to reports, the state leadership of the BJP announced the observance of the day across all police stations in the state through protest programs. Alongside several other places in the state, BJP supporters demonstrated protests in front of the Belakoba Outpost, supported by the local police force.
Nakul Das, the president of BJP’s Kisan Morcha in Jalpaiguri district, stated that the state government is oppressing the common people, which is why the day is being observed state-wide. As a result, the party members joined the protest in front of the Belakoba Outpost.
