Rajganj, 23rd June: The BJP’s Uttar Mandal unit in Rajganj observed the martyrdom day of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee on Monday at Battala More in Belakoba, Rajganj block. Party leaders and workers paid floral tribute to Dr. Mukherjee by garlanding his portrait and remembering his contributions.
As part of the observance, a tree plantation drive was also organised to promote environmental awareness. Around 100 local residents were given saplings, with an appeal to participate in environmental protection efforts.
The event was attended by Jalpaiguri District Kisan Morcha President Nakul Das, BJP District Committee members Debashish Dey, Sushant Roy, Tapan Dey, and other party leaders.
