Siliguri, 15th September: BJP Mahila Morcha handed over a memorandum to the Siliguri Police Commissioner regarding rising incidents of snatching and theft in the city.
It has been learned that a memorandum was handed over to the commissioner on behalf of Mahila Morcha with a demand to stop criminal activities in the city and also to build a drug-free city.
In this regard, BJP Mahila Morcha leader Julie Tamang said that the youths of the society are plunging into drugs addiction. Although the police administration is constantly working to build a drug-free city, the working pace must be increased to get faster results, she further added.
