Siliguri, 21st December: After Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) ‘Ar Noy Annyay (No more injustice)’ campaign to amplify an anti-establishment voice ahead of the polls in the state, the BJP Mahila Morcha is likely to carry out the’ Ar noy Asuraksha (No more insecurity)’ programme from December 21 to 24.
On Monday, the BJP Mahila Morcha staged a demonstration near Mahatma Gandhi’s statue near the city’s Head Post Office. District observer Panchali Bhattacharya said that all women in Bengal are unsafe. She added that despite the state’s Chief Minister is a woman, she is not fair towards all other women in the state. Hence, the Mahila Morcha is launching the ‘Ar noy Asuraksha’ camp to fight for the security of the women and girls.
On the other hand, in view of Sujata Mandal Khan, wife of BJP MP Soumitra Khan, joining TMC, Bhattacharya said that if one joins TMC, 50 more are joining BJP. Hence, no inconvenience is likely to be created.
