Rajganj, 26th August: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary Sayantan Basu, on Wednesday, held a meeting in Belakoba in view of the forthcoming assembly elections.
Basu stated that the meeting was organized with the block leaders to discuss organizational issues. The discussion mainly focused on preparations concerning the upcoming assembly elections.
He added that the BJP will definitely secure at least 50 out of the 54 assembly seats in North Bengal and 200 seats in the state.
BJP Jalpaiguri District President Bapi Goswami, Kishore Barman, Dilip Chowdhury, Alok Chakraborty, and others were present during the meeting.
