Siliguri, 06th February: The BJP State General Secretary Rathindranath Bose launched a Door-to-Door campaign in support of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Ward No 36 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, today. During the event, Rathindranath Bose distributed leaflets and provided detailed information about NRC and CAA by visiting various houses in the Ward.
Addressing the reporters, Rathindranath Bose stated that the opposition parties are spreading propaganda among the public regarding the NRC and CAA. He advised the public to stay away from such political parties. He further stated that they will have to make the people understand that the NRC and CAA are for the people’s benefit.
