Naxalbari, 28th September: On Thursday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Naxalbari Mandal initiated a cleanliness drive commemorating Seva Week. Notably, the BJP is observing Seva Week, till 2nd October, on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
According to reports, the areas around Naxalbari Railway Station were cleaned. The program witnessed the presence of Naxalbari Mandal President Monglu Rai, Mandal-in-charge Babita Chhetri, Sadhan Chakraborty, Shaileen Rai, Bartu Rai, and others.
Speaking at the event, Mandal President Monglu Rai stated that the program has been organized to maintain cleanliness. Mandal-in-charge Babita Chhetri urged to keep the surroundings clean and avoid littering the railway line. She added that the garbage disposal at railway lines creates problems for commuters.
