Fulbari, 28th August: In support of the 12-hour Bengal bandh, BJP supporters organized a roadblock and rally in Fulbari on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the bandh was called by the state BJP in response to police baton charges and arrests during a student protest at Nabanna the previous day.
BJP supporters blocked roads at the Fulbari Murder More near Siliguri. The New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police force arrived at the scene and removed the blockade. Following the roadblock, BJP workers staged a rally in Fulbari in support of the bandh.
