BJP holds protest march in Siliguri against women abuse and corruption

Siliguri, 24th September: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest march in Siliguri demanding the arrest of Dr. Sushant Roy for alleged corruption and the resignation of the Chief Minister in connection with the R.G. Kar case.


The march commenced on Tuesday from Baghajatin Park and proceeded to Mahatma Gandhi More (Air View More). MoS Sukanta Majumdar, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, Jalpaiguri MP Jayanta Roy, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, Matigara Naxalbari MLA Anandamoy Barman, Phansidewa MLA Durga Murmu, and BJP’s Organizational District President Arun Ghosh, along with several BJP workers and supporters, participated in the rally.

During the procession, BJP leaders voiced their protest against women abuse, the R.G. Kar incident, and corruption, while calling for the overthrow of the Trinamool Congress government in the upcoming assembly elections.
