Siliguri, 15th October: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Thursday, handed over a 15-point memorandum to the Fulbari Gram Panchayat Office No. 1 and 2 under the Dabgram Fulbari Assembly.
Reportedly, several BJP workers took out a rally from the Ambikanagar BJP office under the leadership of Jalpaiguri MP Jayant Roy. However, the police stopped the rally as soon as it reached in front of the Fulbari No-1 Gram Panchayat office.
When the BJP leaders and activists started protesting as they were not allowed to enter the regional office, the administration allowed seven BJP representatives to enter the Gram Panchayat office to hand over the memorandum.
