BJP candidate Anandamay Barman faces voter criticism again during campaign in Naxalbari

Naxalbari, 23rd March: BJP candidate Anandamay Barman from Matigara–Naxalbari faced voter criticism once again during his election campaign, this time in Hatighisa after a similar incident at Naxalbari market.

According to reports, the BJP candidate began his campaign on Monday after offering prayers at Maha Singh Jote. He then carried out campaign activities at Atal Bazaar and Hatighisa market. During this time, a voter reportedly confronted him, alleging lack of development and stating that despite being informed earlier about the railway gate issue, no assistance was provided.

The voter also pointed out that residents of Mangal Singh village have to travel an additional 2 km due to the presence of a railway line, causing inconvenience. This led to visible dissatisfaction among locals who expressed their grievances upon meeting the candidate.

Reacting to the incident, Anandamay Barman stated that such reactions reflect the mindset of opposition party workers and supporters, adding that there is no controversy in the matter.
