BJP begins wall graffiti campaign in Siliguri ahead of state elections

Siliguri, 16th March: Following the announcement of the election schedule, campaigning has kicked off across the state. On Monday morning, BJP workers and supporters were actively seen in various areas of Siliguri. In Ward No. 16, the party conducted a wall graffiti campaign, attended by MLA Shankar Ghosh.


Party sources said the event saw enthusiastic participation from BJP workers and supporters. However, candidates for the constituency have not yet been announced.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Shankar Ghosh said that whoever the party nominates, BJP is set to form the government in the state this election. He added that people now want change, citing corruption in the ruling party as a reason voters are unlikely to support Trinamool Congress.


Ghosh further stated that candidate names will be announced soon.
