The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Sunday, announced the list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal.
The party announced the names of 27 candidates for the third phase and 38 candidates for the fourth phase of the election. The list includes names of Union minister Babul Supriyo, former Trinamool Congress leader Rajib Banerjee, actor-turned-politician Locket Chatterjee, and Payal Sarkar. The party also announced the names of candidates for the Assam, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu polls.
BJP had earlier released a list of 58 candidates for the first two phases of election in Bengal.
