Siliguri, 06th January: As election day is approaching in Siliguri, the political atmosphere has started to boil up.
On Thursday, BJP has been accused of tearing down TMC’s banner in Ward no-04. Trinamool candidate Parimal Mitra accused BJP of tearing their party banners. A written complaint has also been filed at the police station.
On the other hand, BJP workers and supporters of Ward no-04 denied all allegations and said that TMC is trying to get the support of people by tearing down their own banners-posters. They very well know that BJP’s victory in this ward is certain. People will not accept it under any circumstances.
