Siliguri, 05th January: A staff nurse’s bike was reported stolen from the premises of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) in Siliguri. The staff, Kalpana Chhetri, filed a written complaint at the Medical Outpost.
According to the complaint, Kalpana had parked her bike in the open parking area in front of Block-B quarters around 10:30 PM, after which it went missing. The incident has raised concerns over the security arrangements within the NBMCH campus.
The police have begun an investigation with the help of CCTV footage from the hospital premises to trace the stolen vehicle.
