Rajganj, 04th September: A bike rally was organized by BSF to commemorate the 75th year of Independence. Reportedly, various programs are being organized by BSF on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrita Mahotsav.
The bike rally started from Meghalaya on 1st September and reached Radharbari BSF Camp in Sector Head Quarter Siliguri on Saturday night. The said rally will cover a distance of about 2795 km from Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi for 17 days. A total of 34 BSF personnel participated in this bike rally, out of which 17 are women.
The rally commenced this morning from Sector Head Quarter Radharbari BSF Camp of Siliguri. In this regard, BSF Inspector General Ajay Singh said that on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, various programs have been organized by the Border Security Force. He added that such initiative is being taken by them to increase national unity and also increase a sense of love and patriotism for the nation. The purpose of the said rally is to spread the message of national unity on the road and make people aware of the repercussion of drug use advising the youths and people to stay away from such usage. Also through this bike rally, the jawans will go to far-flung areas and educate the common people and make them aware of the various functions of BSF.
