Siliguri, 03rd April: A bike rally was taken out by the NJP branch of the NF Railway Employees Union to demand the discontinuation of the new pension policy of the Railways and the restoration of the old pension policy.
Reportedly, around 600 railway employees on more than 200 bikes participated in the bike rally today, which commenced from NJP Railway Institute grounds and reached NJP station after circumambulating various areas.
Before the bike rally, a meeting was held at the NJP Railway Institute grounds. Through this bike rally, the members of the organization demanded to stop the new pension policy of the railways.
