Siliguri, 21st August: The Bihar police arrested three members of a gang from the Champasari area with the assistance of the Pradhannagar police. The arrested accused have been identified as Sunny Kumar, Rajiv Kumar, and Rahul Raj.
It has been learned that on July 09, some youths were accused of cheating in the name of helping to withdraw money from ATM in Darbhanga district of Bihar. Based on the allegations, the police started an investigation. After investigating the location of the mobile tower, the police received 3 suspicious numbers, the location of which were traced in Siliguri.
Following this, a special team of Bihar Police reached Siliguri today and raided Triveni Hotel in Champasari area with the assistance of the Pradhannagar Police.
The police produced the three accused in Siliguri court, took them on transit remand, and left for Bihar.
