Rajganj, 07th February: Bhorer Alo Police Station felicitated young athlete Dipankar Roy on Saturday for his outstanding performance in state-level athletics competitions. Dipankar secured first place in both the 100-meter and 200-meter races, bringing pride to Rajganj.
The felicitation was organised by Bhorer Alo Police, with officials including OC Sudip Kumar Dutta, SI Swadesh Saha, SI Chiranjit Saha, and ASI Prashant Bardhan presenting Dipankar with a memento, sweets, and flowers as a mark of appreciation.
Dipankar, a fourth-grade student of BFP School in Votepara under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat, achieved these victories at the 41st State-Level Primary School and Child Education Centre Sports Competition held on 16th December at Banipore, Kolkata.
OC Sudip Dutta remarked that Dipankar’s achievements are not only a source of pride for his family and school but also for the entire community. He added that such accomplishments are expected to inspire more children in the area to pursue sports and athletic activities.
