Mirik, 09th September: The Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha (BGPM) celebrated its fourth foundation day with grandeur at the Alay Ground in Mirik on Monday. The event commenced with the hoisting of the party flag by BGPM Central President Anit Thapa.
Anit Thapa was given a grand traditional welcome with cultural instruments as part of the celebrations. To mark the occasion, the party president cut a cake in celebration of the milestone.
Jyoti Kumar Rai, Central Assistant Secretary of BGPM, delivered the welcome address. Four Sabhasads of the Mirik Mahkuma also congratulated Anit Thapa and Central General Secretary Amar Lama during the event.
The celebration saw the participation of party officials, workers, and members from Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong, and Mirik. The event concluded with various cultural and musical programs.
