Siliguri, 10th February: The police personnel of the Bhaktinnagar Police Station is facing a lot of difficulties due to the increasing number of mosquitoes in the area.
A police worker alleged that the police station often submerges under unhygienic sewers water during the monsoons and more mosquitoes tend to infest the area. He stated that many attempts have been made to get rid of mosquitoes but no techniques have worked yet. He further stated that despite reporting the matter to the local Councillor and Siliguri Municipal Corporation Chairman Dilip Singh, no settlement has been provided yet. Meanwhile, Dilip Singh stated that the matter has been informed to the SMC.
