Siliguri, 06th September: The Bhaktinagar police arrested two men for possession of illegal intoxicating tablets and banned cough syrup, on Sunday. The arrested accused have been identified as Rupesh Subba (30) and Arjun Singh (29).
Reportedly the police, acting on a tip-off, arrested the duo from the area adjacent to Salugara. 500 pieces of intoxicating tablets and 20 bottles of cough syrup were recovered from their possession. They were sent to Jalpaiguri court on Monday. Police are investigating whether anyone else is involved in the incident.
