Siliguri, 23rd December: Based on the tip-off provided by SOG of Siliguri Metropolitan Police, the Bhaktinagar police conducted an operation and arrested two smugglers with 21 kgs of cannabis. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Indraj Ali and Rahul Sheikh.
According to the information, the duo had reached Indira Gandhi Maidan on Wednesday evening for delivering the cannabis. Acting promptly, the police launched an operation and nabbed both of them. The peddlers have been booked under NDPS Act and produced in Jalpaiguri court on Thursday.
