Cooch Behar, 07th September: Today marks September’s first day of the weekly lockdown in Bengal. In view of this, the Cooch Behar police have been keeping strict surveillance across the city since this morning.
Although the number of positive coronavirus cases are on a rise across the city, some people fail to understand the gravity of the current alarming situation and are spotted breaching lockdown restrictions.
Thinking of a unique way to tackle such public, the administration made all the breachers undergo the COVID-19 test as a punishment. Besides, police operations are being carried out in different parts of the city.
