Jalpaiguri, 25th July: Today marks the second day of Bengal’s ‘2-days a week’ lockdown.
Meanwhile, strict monitoring is being kept by the police in various parts of Jalpaiguri since this morning. Operations were launched under the leadership of Bipul Sinha, IC of Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police Station. Surveillance is likely to continue throughout the day.
The police detained several people on the charge of breaching lockdown protocols.
