Siliguri, 13th April: Tollywood actress Mimi Chakraborty and Jadavpur MP, campaigned in support of Dabgram-Fulbari assembly TMC candidate Goutam Deb.
Mimi Chakraborty held a roadshow on behalf of Goutam Deb on Tuesday. The roadshow started from Siliguri’s Check Post and toured in different areas including Salugara Bazar, Vivekananda Nagar, Prakash Nagar, Bangla Bazar, Roy Colony, and Pradhan Para.
Mimi Chakraborty said that she is confident people will vote for the minister. In view of the Sitalkuchi incident, she stated “Such incidents are happening even before BJP came to power, but what will they do if they come to power?”
Chakraborty further stated that attempts are being made to stop Mamata Banerjee which will never be possible.
