Teesta, 08th October: Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose arrived at the Teesta Bazar area to visit the people impacted by the flash flood in Sikkim.
According to reports, the disastrous calamity caused by the Sikkim flash flood has gravely impacted the areas along the Teesta River. Numerous homes were destroyed and several areas have been reduced to debris. Many people have lost their lives while several others are still missing.
In efforts to provide adequate support to the victims, Governor CV Anand Bose travelled to Teesta Bazar and visited the victims affected due to the flood. He inspected the flood-inflicted areas and subsequently interacted with the people there.
