Rajganj, 06th June: After a health worker of Babupara in Belakoba tested positive for COVID-19, TMC MLA of Rajganj Khageswar Roy took stock of the said area.
It is to be noted that 4 health workers of Maynaguri Rural Hospital have been infected with the virus, one of which is a resident of Rajganj’s Belakoba area. The MLA stated that barricades have been installed in the area.
The health department collected swab (saliva) of 14 people including the families of the infected and all have been asked to stay in the home quarantine till the report arrives.
MLA Roy urged the people of the area not to be afraid of the novel coronavirus and follow all protocols.
