Siliguri, 18th October: The Siliguri Municipal Corporation has started beautifying the Mahananda river ghat in Siliguri in the form of Kolkata’s Millennium Park.
Reportedly, SMC has already completed about 80 percent of the work. The municipality chairman Ashok Bhattacharya assured that the work will be completed post Durga Puja.
Bhattacharya arrived on Sunday to inspect the beautification work. Following this, he stated that efforts are being made to complete the work expeditiously.
