Kharibari, 03rd March: Basant Mahotsav was organized by the Young Girls Club of the Kharibari Block. Under the Utsav, colorful programmes including a Padayatra was organized. During the event, Aruna Das, the opposition leader of the Kharibari Panchayat Samiti Kishori Mohan Singh, Meenu Roy, Poppy Saha, the Secretary of the Young Girls Club Tanya Das, Executive President Janvi Sarkar, Priyanka Barman, Sushmita Acharya, Harshita Barman, Mahuya Giri, and many others were present.
Tanya Das, the Secretary of the Young Girls Club, informed that on the occasion of Basant Utsav, a Padyatra from PW to Adhikari was organized. This was followed by a programme near PW More. The programme was inaugurated by the guests by lighting the lamp. They also greeted each other with Gulal (colorful powder). Sweets were also distributed during the event.
