Kharibari, 13th December: The cops of Kharibari police station arrested a Bangladeshi youth from Chiharu Jote area of Kharibari, on charges of entering India illegally. The arrested Bangladeshi national has been identified as Mohammad Alam (23).
As per reports, the locals spotted the young man wandering in the Chiharu Jote area of Kharibari. Sensing suspicion, the locals informed the matter to the Kharibari police station. Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the spot and arrested the youth after an interrogation.
In addition, the Police also recovered an identity card and ATM card from the youth. On Wednesday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri court. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
