Siliguri, 04th May: The Bangiya Shikshak O Shikshakarmi Sangha submitted a memorandum to the SDO in support of their seven-point demands. Today, members of the organization protested in front of Siliguri’s SDO office regarding various demands. They emphasized the need for a central corps to ensure the security of the polling personnel during the upcoming panchayat elections.
The organization also demanded that teachers and teaching staff be brought under the health scheme as soon as possible. Furthermore, they submitted a memorandum today regarding several demands, including the payment of all arrears of dearness allowance.
