Siliguri, 02nd October: The 37th Mini Marathon is being organized on October 06 by Baghajatin Athletic Club. However, due to the pandemic, a 10 km Mini Marathon will be organized instead of 21 km.
Today, members of Baghajatin Athletic Club held a press conference at Siliguri Journalists Club in this regard. Akhil Vishwas, co-ordinator of the Mini Marathon, said that both men and women will be participating in this marathon. The said marathon will commence at 07 am on the day of the event from the Royal Academy in Matigara and end at the Baghajatin Athletic Club complex via Darjeeling More, Sevoke More and Panitanki More.
The participants in the Mini Marathon will have to undergo a COVID-19 and physical fitness test as per the protocols. Contestants can register for the said marathon free of cost from October 05. National table tennis coach Amit Kumar Dam will be present as the chief guest in the marathon.
