Bagdogra, 23rd May: On the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, a grand procession set off in Bagdogra as per the customary traditions.
According to reports, on Thursday morning, the procession was carried out from a monastery in Tolagaon that circumambulated various parts of Bagdogra.
A significant number of Buddhists were witnessed actively participating in the procession. Meanwhile, the women in the procession carried the holy Buddhist scriptures of Tripitika.
