Siliguri, 18th October: The Babupara Boys Club in Siliguri has officially begun its preparations for Kali Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony. This year marks the 54th edition of their Kali Puja celebrations.
The theme for this year’s event, titled ‘Utsarga,’ focuses on reviving the lost cottage industries of rural Bengal. According to Noni Dhar, secretary of the puja committee, the pandal will be constructed using bamboo, cane, and other eco-friendly materials.
Dhar expressed confidence that, like in previous years, the Babupara Boys Club’s Kali Puja will capture the attention of the city’s residents.
