Rajganj, 03rd June: The 133rd Annual Tirodhan Utsav of Baba Lokenath Brahmachari is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in the region. Today, the puja commenced at the Aakarigach Banabhasa Adi Lokenath Mandir Committee and Aakarigachh Loknath Mission in Rajganj block, drawing devotees since morning.
Bhavatosh Dutta, secretary of Aakrigachh Banabhasa Adi Lokenath Mandir Committee, stated that the 133rd Tirodhan Utsav of Baba Lokenath Brahmachari is being celebrated with week-long festivities. Today marks the 40th year of the puja being organized at the temple. He added that devotees from far and wide have gathered to offer their prayers. The day has been filled with worship ceremonies and soulful Baul songs. Additionally, about 50 needy individuals were provided with clothing, and arrangements for Prasad have been made for everyone present.
Asim Mazumdar, a member of Aakrigach Lokenath Mission, mentioned that this year marks the 21st anniversary of their puja. The event will continue throughout the day, with devotees arriving since morning. Adequate arrangements have been made to accommodate the devotees and ensure their comfort.
