Rajganj, 05th February: An awareness program on the prevention of child marriage was organized at Sahudangi Hat P.K. Roy High School. The initiative was taken by the NSS Unit – II of Siliguri College in collaboration with the school.
The program was attended by officials from Bhorer Alo police station, the block health officer, local public representatives, and teachers. Students from Siliguri College conducted awareness campaigns through plays, highlighting the harmful effects of child marriage and ways to prevent it.
The interactive plays effectively conveyed the message to the students, aiming to create awareness and discourage child marriage in the community.
