Siliguri, 13th June: Unidentified persons on Friday attempted to steal money from an ATM of SBI near Sanhati More of Ashighar Out Post in Siliguri.
Unable to get their hands on the money, the miscreants tried to steal the ATM instead. However, that too did not work. Frustrated by the failed attempts, the miscreants shattered the windows and tried to break the machine by hitting the ATM.
Locals came to know about the entire episode on Saturday morning and immediately informed the police regarding the incident. Upon receiving the news, Ashighar police reached the spot and have launched an investigation of the whole incident.
