Siliguri, 20th March: Campaigning for the Assembly elections has intensified in Siliguri. On Friday, Trinamool Congress candidate and Mayor Gautam Deb visited Ward No. 04 of the city as part of his campaign.
During the visit, he toured several areas including Jyoti Nagar and Tumal Para. As part of his outreach, local residents raised their issues and grievances, which he listened to attentively. He also instructed municipal corporation officials and MMIC to look into these concerns.
During the campaign, Gautam Deb also targeted the BJP over the issue of voter names being removed during the SIR process. He was also seen interacting in a light-hearted manner with both elderly residents and children during the visit.
