Siliguri, 24th March: Ashok Bhattacharya, Siliguri assembly Left Front candidate of the Sanjukta Morcha (Left-Congress-ISF alliance) conducted electioneering in various areas including Jyotinagar, Tumul para, and various areas of Ward no-04. Following this, he visited the residence of the former left leader and present TMC ward co-ordinator, Parimal Mitra. He interacted with all his family members and also appealed for support from everyone.
In this regard, Ashok Bhattacharya said that he visited Mitra’s house and met his family members. He also asked for their support.
On the other hand, Trinamool leader Parimal Mitra said that Ashok Bhattacharya is his former acquaintance. ‘However, as I am currently a Trinamool leader, I want TMC to win the assembly elections.’, he stated.
