Ashok Bhattacharya campaigned in Ward No. 24 and 27 in Siliguri

Siliguri, 11th April: Prior to the fifth phase of voting, candidates of various political parties are actively electioneering in full swing. Likewise, Sanjukta Morcha’s Left Front candidate from Siliguri assembly Ashok Bhattacharya campaigned through a grand procession in the city’s Ward No. 24. Later, he campaigned in Ward No. 27 from a toto (e-rickshaw).


A grand procession was taken out in support of Ashok Bhattacharya from the grounds of Tarun Tirtha Club in Ward No. 24 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. Bhattacharya was also accompanied by District Left Front convenor Jibesh Sarkar.


Following this, Ashok Bhattacharya campaigned in Ward No. 27 and visited various parts of the ward. He interacted with the people and heard out their grievance. Later addressing the media, he said that Siliguri is a symbol of peace where democracy prevails. He claimed that the people want him to maintain peace and harmony in the city.
